What is Faith in Jesus Christ?
Having faith in Christ means that you believe that Jesus died on the cross and that he is the son of God. Along with that, you believe that he took all the weight of our sins on Him and carried them to the cross; and the wrath of God was poured out on him. This was done so that we could be forgiven of our sins and for all that call on the name of Jesus will become children of God.
Hello everyone, I would like to expand a little more on what I said in the first paragraph and break things down a little more.
First of all, in order to have faith in Jesus Christ; you have to want to have a relationship with him. Think about it for a second, how can one put their trust in someone without knowing them?
The next thing is that once you have decided to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, you then make the choice to put your trust and faith in Him; and he becomes the Lord of your life, and you no longer live for you but for him and do the things that please God.
Putting your faith in Jesus Christ is when things are not going the way you would like them to, but you know that trusting in Jesus all things will work out for the greater good in your life. It also means to completely rely on Him even when we do not understand all things but know He is in control.
